The Uniting Church in Australia (UCA) is one of the largest not for profit organisations in Australia. The Synod of NSW and the ACT, Synod (Head) Office acts as the shared services group for the Synod and provides significant centralised financial, IT & S, property, insurance, risk management, HR, governance, compliance, communications and marketing and other support resources to UCA entities in NSW and the ACT.
An immediate opportunity for a highly experienced, generalist Recruitment Specialist has arisen. We have an ongoing demand for end-to-end recruitment support, even for roles where we partner with our valued Agencies.
The demand for recruitment fluctuates, but at the moment we are sitting at the higher end with around 12 roles, many newly created. We need a strong generalist recruiter willing to work with our Hiring Managers and HR team on a range of roles from administration to senior management, including Financial Services, Communications, Risk and Compliance and Disaster Response.
The role will sit within the Human Resources Team and key responsibilities will include all elements of the end to end recruitment of casual and permanent staff, engagement with Agency partners, contract creation and management (via Docusign), and On-boarding
You will need strong, generalist recruitment experience to be successful in this role, along with excellent time management and organisational skills. You will be an outstanding communicator with a warm, engaging and professional manner.
We are totally open to flexible working hours and working remotely, so long as, with notice, you have the access and availability to come into the CBD when required. We are located close to all public transport options.
