We are seeking to develop a Recruitment Pool fora Contract Managerrole, to be a part of our Rural and Regional Service Delivery and Performance team within the Regional and Outer metropolitan division Transport for NSW. The opportunity will be for a temporary role, as available by the business.
The primary purpose of the role is to contribute to the overall customer experience by managing rural and regional and outer metropolitan activities relating to public transport procurement, contract development & management in order to provide an integrated, safe, reliable, customer-focused and efficient service that meets the needs of stakeholders.
In this position you will manage business processes to ensure the proactive identification of risk, and the review and improvement of systems designed to minimise or eliminate fraud and corruption. Taking ownership of this key role by managing activities relating to public transport procurement, contract development & management so that we can provide an integrated, safe, reliable, customer-focused service that meets our stakeholders needs will be top of your agenda.
Your stakeholder management skillset will come into play when establishing and maintaining the appropriate operating rhythm with contractors to ensure regular and applicable contact on issues related to contract administration and governance.
The key to success with the role will be the ability to motivate and encourage the development of an effective and professional team with a clear focus on the delivery of planned outcomes, in tandem with investing in the continual development of the capabilities and capacities of the individual team members.

The salary for this position is Transport Grade 8 ($115,137 - $128,952) per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
