The Position

Reporting to the Head of Marketing and State Operations Executive Manager, the Regional Marketing Specialist is responsible for executing regional marketing plans for the Ramsay facilities and services within their region, in support of the hospital executive teams.

Working closely with the National Marketing team and the Ramsay facilities in Queensland (Northern Region), you will develop and leverage marketing communication materials to promote services in the region. In this role you will be pivotal in establishing and growing Ramsay’s consumer engagement platform to ensure continued growth of the Ramsay brand and services. The role ensures marketing activities in the region align with the Ramsay brand, overarching service propositions and marketing strategy. Your day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the National Marketing team to implement regional marketing campaigns, including coordinating collateral and required content
  • Working with the GP Liaison Officers to improve the engagement of the GP community by leveraging Ramsay’s CRM and communications such as newsletters
  • Coordination and development of content and communications that advances Ramsay’s quality agenda in local markets
  • Identifying and preparing media and community communication opportunities across the region
  • Reporting and analysis of regional marketing initiatives to assess the success of the activity across the region
  • Assisting with ongoing marketing projects and collaborating with corporate departments
  • Driving brand standards to ensure excellent product and service delivery

Essential criteria:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in marketing, communications or related discipline
  • Experience in working in localised marketing and communications within complex environments
  • Experience establishing relationships and maintaining contact lists with external stakeholders such as media outlets
  • Excellent communication skills – written, visual and verbal
  • Experience in creating content for a range of marketing channels within a limited budget
  • Demonstrated business acumen and commercial awareness
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects concurrently under tight deadlines
  • Strong people management, communication and resourcing skills
  • Hold a current C class Australian Driver’s Licence


  • Marketing or related degree or qualification
  • Experience in healthcare related marketing and communications
