Administration Officer (Qld Government Department AO3 Equivalent)
We are urgently seeking an experienced Administration Officer with strong attention to detail and initiative for a full-time temporary role with a Queensland Government department.
This role provides support across a range of tasks and therefore, your team player approach and ability to multi-task (whilst maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality) is essential for providing all-round administrative support, including:
Reception coverage, assisting staff and guests in a professional and friendly manner.
Administering the flow of internal and outgoing correspondence, including incoming enquiries by telephone and email, in a professional and timely manner, ensuring confidentiality.
Providing accurate and high-level executive support to the Directors, including coordinating diary appointments and travel arrangements using CTM.
Assisting with the monitoring of business unit expenses in SAP.
Accessing, operating and maintaining administrative and technical databases, process information and prepare associated reports as required.
Undertaking administrative support for information management, HR management, asset management, record management, various financial processes and ICT troubleshooting.
Supporting the coordination of events and functions, including the preparation of approved minutes, set-up of coffee equipment and organisation of catering.
Ability and willingness to perform a variety of administrative or support services as directed
To be considered applicants must be able to demonstrate:
Previous administration experience (including reception, record keeping, travel bookings, and data entry)
High attention to detail and visual accuracy
High-level written and verbal communication skills
Strong competency in MS Word, Outlook, OneNote and Excel
Demonstrated experience using HP Records (TRIM), SAP and CTM
Accurate keyboarding skills (minimum 45wpm @ 98% accuracy)
