We are looking for a Service Engineer to take on a challenging job in a global and innovative company. You will be given the opportunity to work with highly advanced, market leading analytical solutions in a strong cross-functional and multi-cultural environment.
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be working in a small team of specialists, providing service to our customers within the Dairy, Wine, Meat, Grain, Feed and Forage markets.
Your base will be in Adelaide, but you must be willing to travel within Australia and New Zealand - approximately 40 days of domestic travel each year.
As Service Engineer, you will:
- Provide onsite breakdown repair support to our customers.
- complete instrument installations,
- train customers in the use of their FOSS equipment,
- plan and schedule your service work
- provide rapid remote support,
- complete preventative maintenance services and,
- maintain good inventory control of your stock of spare parts
A recognized electrical, engineering or electronics qualification.
Work experience as a Service Engineer will be considered beneficial but not necessary.
You are proficient within the general computer and main software packages.
The right attitude, in terms of a strong technological interest and a strong will to learn is crucial.
You are in possession of a valid driving license and current passport.
The legal right to work in Australia.

You are talented at building strong relationships both internally and externally, and are familiar with good customer service ethics.
Able to present to or train a small group of customers.
You know how to communicate a complex message in an everyday language; you are analytical and excel at problem solving.
You are detail oriented, organized and systematic with good planning skills, with a capacity to perform in a fast-paced environment.
