Human Resources Coordinator

Role objective: The objective of the role is to be responsible for the delivery of key business support and administration in relation to Human Resource and training.  

Location: Karratha, Western Australia 

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  •  Support and Coordinate the end to end HR Process and Administration (ie: recruitment, onboarding, Performance Management and Termination activities) for all team members including: 

  • Contracts of Employment and management of Fixed Term Arrangements;  

  • Position Descriptions; 

  • Coordination of all EPIC New Starters as per procedure;  

  • Case Management Support; 

  • Termination Support.  

  • Maintain, review and update all HR records in line with legislative requirements including organisational policies, procedures and processes;  

  • Facilitate HR administrative systems to ensure that the organisation meets legislative and policy guidelines and compliance;  

  • Coordinate training for all Team Members and provide advice and support to Operations Manager regarding the EPIC Training Plan;  

  • Interface with external HR Specialist; 

  • Interface with outsourced IT Specialist for all new starter requirements;   

  • Interface with insurance agents for all workplace injury management requirements; 

  • Action any reasonable requests by the Operations Manager.

Selection Criteria: 

  • Diploma or Certificate in Human Resources or an administrative position;  

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;  

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of Programs; 

  • Culturally sensitive to a broad and diverse client group;  

  • Ability to contribute to a team in a professional and collaborative manner;  

  • Demonstrated high level of confidentiality, discretion and initiative;  

  • Excellent organisational skills including the ability to determine priorities, attention to detail and meet regular deadlines;  

  • Hold a current C Class Drivers Licence
