We are seeking ahighlyexperienced and senior Rail Safety Manager.You can expect a salary of between $230K-$260k per annum,plus super and car allowance, potentially more...

The Role:
Melbournebased,you will be responsible for:

  • Governance, oversight and facilitate continuous improvement in rail safety management
  • Provide day to day safety leadership, direction and planning
  • Develop and drive safety performance, ensuring a strong environmental, health and safety culture.
  • Provide assurance that rail safety risks associated with Project Works are managed SFAIRP
  • Provision of advice on all matters relating to rail safety management and investigating project incidents
  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to further align rail safety management practice

Ideal Background:

  • Relevant Tertiary qualification;
  • Minimum10-15 years experience as aSafety Managerworking on majorcivil/railprojects(essential);
  • Driven and enthusiastic with a positive,hands on attitude to projectdelivery;
  • Self-starter with the ability to determine own priorities and manage workaccordingly;
  • Passion to take charge of ownership, responsibility andleadership.
