Events and Sponsorship Officer

The Role:

The Sponsorship & Events Officer will be responsible for supporting the organisations Business Development team through the effective planning, coordination and delivery of the Funds range of sponsorships,  educational events and key corporate events such as the Annual General Meeting.

Core responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage the events calendar 
  • Identify and evaluate potential sponsorship opportunities in line with the Marketing strategy, providing recommendations to Management as required
  • Work closely with community and industry partners to leverage sponsorships
  • Develop pre and post communications plans for all events
  • Manage budgets, and ensure all appropriate events materials are provided 

You will be:

  • An experienced events officer with the ability to project manage a range of projects and effectively prioritise competing demands.
  • Ability to use relevant IT software including CRM to manage stakeholder database and CMS to manage web content relevant to events.
  • Possess the ability to develop, nurture and manage positive working relationships and deliver excellent service with both internal and external clients.
  • Willingness to bring a positive attitude to the role and show resourcefulness and commitment to achieving agreed business goals.
  • Proven experience to manage a budget and report on ROI.
