The Logistics & Inventory Planner will proactively manage supply risks and analyse both import and domestic network requirements. Key responsibilities are to prepare and plan for support of lifecycle management, inventory health related stocking initiatives; and ensure the optimization of raw materials across the network.
Will work closely with 3PL and local distribution centres to drive correct stock levels; work with stakeholders on inventory activities from service improvement, supply issues and service risk mitigation to inventory improvement activities
You will also work with the logistics function providing analysis on stock movements of imported goods in a 3PL network.
Drive business to a state of right inventory at the right place at the right time
Plan inventory improvement initiatives which drive seamless execution of E&O & scrap reduction activities across all locations
Utilize analytics in identifying and liaising with stocking locations to centralize and share inventory
Enable the distribution and movement of inventory
Analysis of inventory balances in each storage location
Tracking and maintaining inventory levels in the network for all items required according to planned production.
Managing 3 x 3PL‘s operations and stock transfers are timely available for production.
Manage Purchase orders for services and repairs.
Liaising with planning team regarding any materials issue and communicate all potential risk for production delays.
