About the opportunity
An opportunity exists for a Sales Representative to join our friendly and supportive team based at our Head Office in Regents Park. Reporting directly to the State Manager this position provides support to our retail customers within the state.
The Sales Representative will support the retail network across NSW and ACT by liaising on a regular basis to ensure merchandise and stock is available and also to ensure accounts are kept up-to-date.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
Support customers by preparing a regular call cycle and maintain accurate records of meetings.
Ensure all customers have sufficient product information and brochures to support MHIAA product sales
Seek payment from customers
Source, set up and develop existing and new customers in coordination with Sales Account Managers
Ensure stock (indoor and outdoor unit) reconciliation at all stores.
Ensure stock at customer premises is undamaged
Produce evaluations and advise on the use of company products in a professional and timely manner as and when required.
Prepare and present training as required for local retail staff
Ensure technical information and software are current and available
Provide courteous, prompt and efficient service to internal and external customers on the telephone and personally
Support our knowledge-sharing culture by participating in knowledge management initiatives such as product training and review meetings as required.
Prepare regular monthly reports
In addition, you will be involved in product merchandising, client and consumer product training and presentations, implementation of all promotional activity, launch of new products along with active participation in Trade Shows and demonstrations for end users
To be considered for this position you must:
Demonstrated experience and knowledge of sales processes and call cycle management
Be friendly and approachable
Experience working within air-conditioning market (desirable)
Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Navision desirable)
This is a full time position, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm with a great career pathway within Sales.
