Our client is one of Australia's leading wholesale distribution and marketing company with a diversified business across food, grocery, hardware and liquor sectors. They are currently looking for an experienced Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Trade Partner to join their team located in North Rocks NSW. This position is a 12 Month fulltime contract with an immediate start for the right candidate.

Duties will include but are not limited to;

This position acts and operates as the interface between Supplier and our client to ensure efficient supply chain collaboration, forecasting and replenishment planning.

  • Create a rolling 13 week aligned supply plan, including promotional planning into the companys network
  • Maintain a rolling 52-week baseline forecast into the companies network
  • Identify and drive process improvements to ensure Service and Productivity Key Performance Indicator targets deliver collaborative results.
  • Manage/validate and execute daily ordering and day to day firefighting, and through effective collaboration and proactive issue resolution drive to reduce and improve daily processors.
  • Manage Seasonal planning and replenishment execution.
  • Ensure demand plans are reconciled and aligned through the Collaboration process by providing order visibility within appropriate timelines to enable decision making from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maximize the service level with companys network, within supply chain efficiency constraints to minimize total cost to serve.

About you;

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Inventory, Demand Planning and Forecasting processes
  • ERP/MRP systems including both Supply and Demand Planning and Forecasting Tools
  • Intermediate knowledge of end to end supply chain practices and principles
  • Basic understanding of the Supplier internal business functional roles, within a retail/wholesale business (FMCG).
  • Field / store operations knowledge is preferred but not essential
  • Intermediate use level in Microsoft Office suite
  • Experience/understanding of retailer replenishment is an advantage
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong administrative and organizational ability
  • Analytical approach to problem solving and Data analysis
  • Team player who can work with cross functional departments on a daily basis
  • Takes responsibility and accountability for own actions and performance and is passionate about process improvement across the E2E Supply chain
  • Effective stakeholder management and engagement both upstream and downstream.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Self-Motivated with leadership qualities
  • Min 3 years Experience in fast moving, manufacturing environment, preferably food or another fast-moving category (FMCG).
  • Min 2 years in Supply or Demand planning and or Account management:
  • Exposure to S&OP
