Compliance Manager

Compliance Manager Role

The Compliance Manager is responsible for WB Infrastructure's Integrated Management System. As such, the role encompasses responsibilities in Safety, Quality and Environmental compliance with The Standards.

The Health & Safety Officer is also the appointed Management Representative for The Standards.

This position is an integral part of the organisation and will therefore require you to work closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, Site Supervisors, Field Staff and other personnel belonging to the project team.

The Candidate

The successful candidate of this full time opportunity should have a strong passion towards continual improvement and demonstrate a proactive approach with initiative.

Previous experience in a construction environment is mandatory however a background in the civil industry is preferred.

The candidate must have:

  • Certificate IV in Workplace Health & Safety
  • Construction Induction Training (White Card)
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • The ability to work independently and within a team
  • Capacity to assist with third party auditing


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure that all company activities are carried out in accordance with the
    applicable statutes, codes of practice, business ethics and Managing Directors
    instructions

  • Ensure all accidents/incidents are investigated, recorded, reported and notified
    as per system requirements

  • Facilitate Root Cause Analysis and help prepare procedures policy form out
    come of these meetings

  • Ensure that internal and external OHS audits are conducted

  • Ensure regular site inspection are conducted

  • Ensure OHS issues are addressed at management review meetings

  • Consult with external agencies When required
