LICENSED AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEER(LAME)

Selection Criteria:

  • Must be qualified B1.2 LAME
  • Exclusions removed (Preferred)
  • Preference to have experience in the above aircraft type
  • Good Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literacy

The following qualifications and skills are highly desirable:

  • 4years as LAME
  • Experience on General aviation.
  • Familiar with C172 VFR and IFR equipment.
  • Good computer literacy.

This is a permanent full time role. As a B1.2 LAME you will be required to carry out maintenance activities as directed by the Chief Engineer/Deputy Chief Engineer. These activities will be, but not limited to:

  • Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of airframe, engine and electrical systems,
  • Performing all maintenance in accordance with the approved manuals,
  • Supervise unqualified maintenance personnel and follow company policies and procedures.
  • Follow policies and procedures as set out by CASA
  • Ensure documentation is true and accurate
  • Issue Aircraft Maintenance Release after completion of work
  • Carry out troubleshooting and defect rectification on SFC aircraft

We provide a well-equipped workshop with excellent working conditions and job security, where safety is the priority on all maintenance activities. The hangar facility primary focus is to service our own aircraft.  

An attractive remuneration package including concessional travel and performance incentives. The salary range for LAME from $59,000 to $83,000 per annum, depending on the qualification and years of experience.
