A great career opportunity exists for a Business Development Manager in Sydney NSW with expertise in developing business with similar companies to, Viterra, Graincorp, Inghams Feedmills, Maltings, Sugar refineries, Coal-Fired Power stations, Coal handling Industrial sites, Flour Mills, Consulting Engineers and EPCs.

  • 5-day visit to Perth to meet the team and understand the business and systems.
  • 5-days of training with the internal sales team.
  • The following week the business owner will travel to NSW to do some customer visits and continue with training on product and systems.
  • Daily check-in via zoom and email, weekly review


  • One week per month the business owner will travel to NSW to accompany the successful candidate on customer visits to continue with training on our products and services.


  • Assist in positively establishing the company brand in a new location and developing the market for a new product range.
  • Develop a call cycle to systematically contact customers and arrange on-site visits and then follow up services.
  • Schedule visits to customers on-site to develop an understanding of their industry, their challenges and then communicate the products, services and solutions we offer.
  • Provide quotes to customers which will require a high level of technical knowledge and understanding.
  • Follow up on quotes within our agreed response times and request feedback from the customer on our service.
  • Ensure accurate, quality data is entered into the CRM system following the processes and procedures.


  • Must be able to work legally and permanently in Australia.
  • Must have had at least 4 years of Business Development Management experience.
  • Has undertaken a similar role and built a reputation as someone who can be relied upon.
  • We are looking for someone who has developed business relationships with companies within Australia in the Oil & Gas,  Manufacturing, Agriculture and LNG Industries.       
  • Must have a track record of clearly communicating to clients how they can support them through the companies products and services.


  • Has previously successfully worked autonomously.
  • Has previously and consistently achieved their targets.
  • Has previously worked with a manager who is not on-site and has the energy and discipline
  • Knows why this type of role would be the right step for their career.
  • Is willing to take a drug and alcohol test. 
  • Have excellent English conversational skills to communicate our capabilities as a company
  • Have excellent professional written communication skills
  • Has referees who are business owners or senior managers who can verify their workplace achievements and character.


  • High technical understanding and the ability to communicate this to others in a systematic way
  • An electrical understanding and hands-on experience
  • Excellent IT and CRM skills 
  • A current Drivers licence
