Primes Finance department is seeking an experienced Finance Officer, specialising in Payroll, to join the Shared Services team at our head office located in Canberra.
The successful applicant will assist with the delivery of the payroll function for Prime Media Group. This role supplies support to ensure the fortnightly payroll process, for approximately 370 employees, is completed in a timely and accurate manner. The role also requires the successful application to assist other sections within Shared Services from time to time.
This position reports directly to the Shared Services Manager and liaises extensively with the Finance and HR teams.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Experience with end to end payroll processes Experience with interpreting awards An understanding of employee taxes including PAYG and payroll tax and superannuation requirements Excellent attention to detail and good interpersonal skills, and team work ethics Ability to meet tight deadlines, with proficient planning and organisational skills Proficiency with Excel
Applicants with payroll experience and experience with Sage Micropay will be highly regarded.
