Print & Artwork Account Manager

Are you somebody who can wear many hats and loves doing so

Our client, a provider of a diverse range of marketing communication services, successfully manage a Hub within their largest client. They oversee all activities related to printed POS and finished art and the great majority of their projects are print based.

They are looking for a rare bird. Namely, an accomplished Account Manager who can also manage the print production function whilst being the conduit between internal clients and suppliers. There is no doubt that no two days will ever be the same and your ability to successfully project manage a whole range of responsibilities is what will make you jump out of bed in the morning! Most importantly, you will become an important cog in a well-oiled machine and your skills will quickly add value. Your ability to become an extension of the customers shopper marketing team and assimilate into a closely-knit group will be critical.

You will possess previous experience in a print and or design / creative agency environment and have a solid understanding of print production processes . A background in finished art would also be preferable, as would skills in all the latest design programs (InDesign, Quark, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator). Your five plus years experience will have been acquired in a busy, challenging, artwork & print-based environment.  

An ability to maintain excellent relationships with internal groups and a commitment to the smooth running of product delivery will reinforce your suitability. Your desire to continually adapt and evolve new products, solutions and technology which meet customers requirements will be what sets you apart.

Specifically you will be responsible for:

- Co-ordinating and servicing the Sydney customer hub model; 

- Print and artwork requirements; 

- Pro-actively contributing innovative ideas to drive additional savings and productivity;

- Print production management and liaison with internal clients and other external suppliers;

- Maintaining excellent customer relationships;

- Providing exceptional levels of customer service;

- Keeping abreast of technology and how it may impact upon current and future work practices.

To secure this enviable role, you will have a solid understanding of the normal suite of design programmes, possess advanced communication skills and have a desire to be the very best at what you do. Your recent experience will have been acquired within an environment where you have been all things to all people and others have become totally dependent upon what you do.
