The Team and the Role

The Human Resources (HR) team leads human resources, workforce development and management strategies, and addresses recruitment needs and the implementation of a robust workforce management strategy.

The Talent Attraction Manager will manage the end to end responsibility for identifying, attracting and on-boarding talent to efficiently and effectively meet changing organisational needs. This includes the development, integration and maintenance of policies, processes, programs, tools, reporting and governance; coordinating the operational delivery of core talent resourcing services for senior executive roles.

This role is also accountable for partnering with the outsourced shared service provider and search providers to ensure successful delivery of recruitment services at NSW Treasury.

Key Skills and Experience:

Extensive experience in leading a customer focused recruitment team in the design, development, delivery and evaluation of end to end Talent Attraction services.

  • Demonstrated superior conceptual, analytical thinking and research skills and experience in complex data analysis.
  • Demonstrated high level skills and extensive experience in project and/or program management and evaluation.
  • Highly developed organisational skills, the capacity to successfully manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, consultation, negotiation, leadership, computer, presentation and stakeholder management skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate discipline or demonstrated relevant, equivalent professional experience

Eligibility

To be eligible to apply for ongoing employment within the NSW Treasury, candidates must be an Australian citizen or have the status of permanent residence in Australia.
