About the role
The key objective of the role of the New Business Sales Manager is to act as a national sales representative for Ecowize Australia.
Some key responsibilities of this role will be:
Drive new business development through direct sales,
Identify and evaluate national business opportunities,
Build networks in the market,
Develop strategies to increase sales,
Make cold calls and generate new business to maximise sales and continuous growth,
Contact leads and conduct face to face business meetings with new prospects,
Manage sales pipeline across commercial proposals, tender submissions and commercial negotiations with clients,
Achieve set sales targets,
Ensure high standards of professionalism and customer service, creating referral and intermediary opportunities,
Maintain knowledge of day-to day market development,
Identify key stakeholders and decision makers,
Contribute to strategy discussion and deliver action plans to produce penetration of the company's services in various segments of the food industry,
Discretion, sound commercial judgment, ability to listen to customers and to present complex services
Flexible, with an ability to work autonomously and show initiative,
Confident communicator with the ability to multitask and prioritise,
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets,
Professionally presented with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Skills and experience
The right person will have:
a successful proven track record in B2B sales,
extensive experience selling face to face with new business prospects,
a hunger to drive and deliver on new business sales targets,
experience working within a fully autonomous field-based role,
a mature approach to consultative selling,
excellent communication, relationship building and interpersonal skills,
a positive attitude, with an unyielding passion for success,
strong social and business networks,
Experience in selling to the food industry will be highly regarded.
This is a hands-on role which offers independence and autonomy with accountability and a career path in a progressive and hardworking mid-sized organisation where the focus is on results in a team orientated environment.
Local and interstate travel is required.
This position comes with an attractive base salary, car allowance, sales commission, mobile phone and laptop. OTE package $150K plus.
Previous experience is looked upon favourably and preference will be given to applicants who have a background in selling to the food industry.
