The Role:
Working closely with the HSE Manager you will use your demonstrated knowledge of WHS Legislation & Regulations, Codes of Practice and Standards relating to the Construction Industry, to provide support across a diverse range of projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring best practice principles are adhered to.
  • Undertaking site inspections and assisting with audits.
  • Reviewing SWMS.
  • Risk assessments and accident investigations.
  • Assisting with the implementation of WHS Management Systems.
  • Tool Box Talks.

Requirements:

  • Cert IV WHS - Minimum.
  • White Card and Asbestos Awareness (essential in ACT)
  • First Aid (highly desirable) 
  • 2-5 years' experience in a similar role within the Australian construction industry.
  • Strong negotiation techniques and excellent communication skills.
  • Good administration skills with auditing qualifications (highly desirable).
  • Driver's Licence
