Cost Accountant

Integria Healthcare brings together the best names in natural healthcare to deliver a total suite of superior, scientifically proven healthcare products. We are currently seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to join our team in Brisbane on a full-time, 12-month fixed term contract.

The Role

The Cost Accountant will provide financial support for two major projects being undertaken in 2020 and 2021. The role will report to the Operations Accountant assisting with product costing, manufacturing accounting and inventory reporting. The role will also document processes for the successful implementation of Dynamics 365 within the manufacturing sites.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensure COGs are accurate and reflect actual cost of manufacture to enable correct margins and business decisions to be made.
  • Transition ERP systems for packaging and manufacturing within Pronto and Dynamics 365.
  • Assisting the Operations Accountant prepare all Manufacturing, Technical and Logistics related month end financial reports.
  • Document processes for finance for inventory related transactions.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the transactional data from various systems.
  • Develop and maintain excellent business relationships with management and other key personnel within the Manufacturing, Technical and Logistics functions.

  • Qualified Accountant with 5 years + experience as CA or CPA.
  • Experience in manufacturing accounting, product costing, inventory reporting and exposure to supply chain.
  • Ability to review all manufacturing and logistics reporting to ensure accuracy, provide insightful commentary and make recommendations to operations teams to improve financial outcomes.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to foster relationships internally.
  • Strong analytical skills and management reporting methodology.
  • Ability to act confidentially, with discretion in all matters.
  • Demonstrated ability to counsel, coach, negotiate, problem solve, influence and persuade.
  • Excellent communicator, able to convey verbally and in writing.
  • Advanced Excel skills, modelling skills and strong ERP knowledge of Pronto and Dynamics 365.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and enthusiastic.
