Management Accountant - Industry Superannuation

What will I be doing

Were looking for an experienced and enthusiastic team player to join our Finance team. This role will partner with the business, focusing on the management accounting function, and assist in the development and delivery of various management reports. You will:

  • Be an integral part of the Finance leadership team and direct report to the CFO
  • Help to manage the administration systems interface with the finance general ledger systems
  • Assist with the design, development and implementation of a range of management and Board reports, focused on fund and corporate performance and other relevant matters
  • Provide advice on issues including financial planning, budgeting, monitoring and reporting
  • Preparation, review and analysis of various management reports including budgeting and other forecasts including working closely the Business Intelligence team on all financial matters
  • Develop long-term financial models, as well as other ad hoc modelling and analysis
  • Prepare Board and Audit, Risk & Compliance Committee papers
  • Assist the Finance team with other projects.

We're looking for someone:

  • With 7-10 years experience in a similar role
  • With leadership experience
  • With previous experience in fund management or superannuation
  • Who has good interpersonal skills and a focus on internal/external customer service
  • With previous experience as a management accountant working across large programs or projects
  • With collaborative working skills; cooperative, offers assistance and fosters support
  • With clear and effective written and oral communication skills
  • With strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including exceptional Microsoft Excel skills
  • With good organisational skills, including time management, prioritisation and flexibility
  • With a tertiary degree in finance or relevant discipline
  • CPA or CA preferred
  • And if you have experience with Technology One and/or Power BI, that will be an advantage.
