We are seeking a highly organised, outcomes focused Executive Assistant for this small agency that sits within a larger Federal Government department.
Working closely within a high-performing team you will provide support to two Group Managers responsible for governance, strategic policy and research and workforce strategy.
Undertaking a variety of activities, you will be responsible for:
Preparing and updating branch documents, monitoring emails and responding where necessary
Coordinating diaries and arranging travel
Liaising with external stakeholders and maintaining key relationships
Assisting in the coordination, management and delivery of Group events and conferences and providing secretariat support including the preparation of agendas and coordination and distribution of meeting documentation
Coordinating parliamentary requests including the management of workflows through the PDMS
Quality assuring documents in accordance with departmental guidelines
This is a busy role, we are looking for someone with energy, drive and the ability to work collaboratively with a range of colleagues and stakeholders. To be considered for this opportunity you will have:
Strong experience in executive support
Excellent written and oral communication skills
A high attention to detail
Experience managing events
The ability to exercise good judgement, maintain confidentiality and work with discretion
The ability to manage competing priorities with limited direction
