The Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager the purpose of this Day shift, Monday to Friday position is to control and coordinate the gate operations and site inductions at our clients facility in Moranbah, Central Queensland.

Key Responsibilities

  • This role has a strong focus on safety, compliance and expert security response capabilities,
  • This position is responsible for ensuring compliance is effective to distribution of both inbound and outbound high consequence dangerous goods.
  • As the Day shift - Security Compliance Administrator/Dyno Nobel Reception is responsible for ensuring all line haul carrier pickups are compliant with transporting Ammonium Nitrate products.
  • This role also includes security site parameter checks and DNA Drug and Alcohol testing.
  • Inducting onsite personnel
  • Managing our clients main entry and exit gate communicating with our customers
  • Support and adhere performing site Drug and Alcohol testing
  • Conduct site security rounds ensuring all accesses to sites are secure.
  • Complete site administration log checks
  • Complete HDGV Audits on carrier vehicles.
  • Ensuring all transport carriers are compliant with the Dyno compliance matrix.
  • Airport collections to and from site
  • Ability to commit to further training within the scope of the role e.g. DNA & Security Licence courses.
  • Meeting Clients DG KPIs targets
  • Conduct site inductions as required
  • Managing onsite Fuel tank checks
  • Ensure site polices are adhered (Clean Shaven Policies) DNA Testing
  • Monitor (site evacuations) Testing drill days
  • Assist with site evacuation in events of emergencys

  • Solid influencing and management skills
  • Excellent communication and follow-up skills
  • Sound time management skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent computer and Microsoft suite experience
  • Drivers license
  • SSAN Sensitive Security Ammonium Nitrate preferred or willing to obtain
  • Unarmed Security license - preferred or willing to obtain
