Administration and Office Support

The Company:

Semmens Transport has been privately owned and operated since January 1997. During this time the company has grown from a small parcel freight business to a company now recognized as a major operator in the Transport and Logistics industry. 

The Position:

This is an opportunity for a self-motivated and experienced Administration/Office Support Assistant to join our team at our Pinkenba office. The position is a casual position Monday to Friday 25 hours per week (approx) and will involve general administration as well as assisting our Office Manager.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

* Data entry into Xero

* Reconciliation of supplier accounts

* Provide assistance and act as a resource to other office staff

* Answering and directing calls

* General administrative tasks as required

Skills and Experience Required:

Previous administration experience essential

* Knowledge of the transport industry an advantage

* Good level of computer literacy including microsoft applications

* Strong attention to detail, accuracy and ability to meet deadlines
