Administration Assistant, Customer Service

To be successful in this role it is required that you can demonstrate the following:

  • Provide professional and efficient customer service to the stakeholders, its staff, clients and the community;
  • Provide administration support to the office team;
  • Reception duties, as required to answer phones, greet visitors and assist them with enquiries;
  • Prepare and format presentations;
  • Develop and maintain templates, procedures and documents to manage administration efficiencies;
  • Diary management and scheduling of appointments and/or events;
  • Manage the day to day administration function.

This role would suit someone with:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport with all stakeholders;
  • Exceptional attention to detail, highly organised with time management skills, with the ability to multitask;
  • Strong proficiency in computer literacy, particularly in the MS Office Suite;
  • Highly developed and proven customer service skills including experience in following correct procedures when dealing with challenging situations;
  • Confident, decisive and proactive in sharing creative and innovative ideas;
  • A willingness to support the team and keen to learn;
  • An interest in agriculture, horticulture and/or the environment will be advantageous.

It will be an advantage if you have a Cert III Business Administration (minimum) and/or relevant experience.

You will fit right into the team if you also have diplomacy, energy, professionalism and a sense of humour.

Reporting to the Extension & Engagement Manager, the position is located in the Sydney Markets, Homebush and will be offered as a full time role.  There is on site parking available and the office is within walking distance to public transport.
