About the Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic person to join our expanding company as the Office Manager / Team Leader of our Repair Coordinators

Working closely with management, accounts and trades the essence of your role is to ensure a seamless delivery of projects and the day-to-day needs of the office.

You will need to possess a can-do attitude and have the ability to multi-task with multiple projects/ priorities at once. We are looking for someone who can come up with solutions and ideas and can hit the ground running and for a candidate who is seeking a long-term role working within our office as an integral part of our company to grow and develop as the company grows.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a team of 2 Repair Coordinators
  • Managing the day-to-day needs of the office including maintaining registers, organising toolbox meetings, office supplies, phone system, etc.
  • Working closely with the job supervisors and the management team to ensure efficient and effective job management
  • Assisting as required in all areas of job management (customer communication, scheduling and invoicing)
  • Engage, co-ordinate & manage trades during the repair process
  • Dispute/issue resolution, as required.
  • Complying with customer SLA's and always striving to improve the status quo for yourself and your team
  • Develop policies and processes as they are identified 
  • Continual development and performance management of your direct reports
  • Providing weekly & monthly reporting to the management team as required

Key Selection Criteria

  • Insurance Building, Roofing or Construction background highly regarded, however not essential.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills, including a professional phone manner.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management & organisation skills.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships.
  • Experience managing a team is essential
  • Can-do positive attitude
  • Common sense, solutions based approach to day-to-day hurdles & challenges 

Please note: we are currently based in Monbulk however will be relocating to Ringwood in the first half of 2020.
