Primary and Community Care Services is seeking a creative, flexible, non judgmental people person to support some of our social participation groups for PCCS programs and services. As the group instructor you will be responsible for planning, implementing and coordinating of range of group activities for people living with a range of health and psychosocial issues.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Help people explore their interests and assist them with learning new skills in a friendly and social environment.
Listen carefully to the participant's interests and work with them to build new achievables.
Plan and manage follow-up and reminders with the group's participants.
Look for opportunities to partner with other people to explore new and creative ideas to run groups.
WHAT TO BRING
Skills in Creative Art, Design, Photography, cooking or other forms of leisure and expression
Creativity and openness to ideas as our clients often have great ideas on how to do things differently or better
Organisation skills as you will need to schedule, plan and report on groups.
Basic Computer Skills as you will need to use phone and emails.
People person who loves meeting a broad range of people.
Knowledge of disability and Mental Health Services is desirable but not essential
