Skill Hire are a leading Group Training Organisation who on behalf of our host employers, act as an apprentice or trainees primary employer, administering and managing; off-job/TAFE training, payroll, workers compensation and injury management, work placement and rotation, apprenticeship or traineeship progression, recruitment and pre-employment screening.
As an apprentice or trainee with Skill Hire, you will receive weekly pay-runs, uniform and PPE supplied, off-job/TAFE training reimbursement upon successful completion of each unit, mentoring and support for the duration of your apprenticeship.

You will be physically fit, able to work in a highly physical workplace, outdoors and not be afraid to pick up a shovel. Being able to pass pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing, be hardworking, motivated and driven to achieve high standards of work in a fast-paced workplace with the ability to work autonomously and use initiatvie and be confident in asking questions.
You will have completed a minimum of Year 10 (with a C-Grade Average and 80% attendance), and ideally have completed a Plumbing pre-apprenticeship within the last two-years. Holding or working towards your drivers license, with reliable transport to/from work each day.
Positions are open to Geraldton-area residents only, and are not FIFO or DIDO positions.
