Property Management Admin / Compliance Officer

The Compliance Officer is a critical role with our company and you will be responsible for the accurate, timely and orderly management of documentation relating to our rental properties, with a primary focus on lease renewals and tenant compliance with the National Rental Affordability Scheme (NRAS). You will ensure properties documents are accurately produced and are issued in a compliant manner, in accordance with the Residential Tenancies Act and the GTA and NRAS requirements and the wishes instructions of the landlord.

You will take pride in delivering amazing customer service to landlords and tenants whilst coordinating the lease renewal and compliance documentation for over 1,000 rental properties per year.

In addition to leasing and compliance, you will enjoy the variety of providing admin support to the property management team in order to ensure our properties are managed to the highest standard.

  • Current Real Estate Registration Certificate
  • Minimum two years experience as an administration or PM assistant in a real estate agency or related industry company
  • Experience with Console Gateway is essential
  • Proficient in MS Office (particularly Excel and Word)
  • High level of data accuracy
  • Must be self-motivated and able to take ownership of tasks

The role includes (but is not limited to):-

  • Property lease preparation & management
  • Reviewing tenant incomes for eligibility with the National Rental Affordability Scheme (NRAS)
  • other property management administration such as Form 6 preparation
  • Answering phones & office support
  • Accurate files, tracking & records management
  • Scanning/filing
  • Communicating with landlords
  • Calling customers/tenants
  • Experience in water invoicing
  • Experience in creating & working excel spreadsheets
  • Coordinating with property managers to ensure forms are accurate and compliant
  • Handling customer complaints/issues
  • Property management back up & support

The role is fulltime position, no weekends required.

Salary is commensurate to your experience, skills and attitude. We are willing to pay top dollar for this crucial team member.
