The Role

Working autonomously, and reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for the efficient management of all administrative functions of our manufacturing and engineering businesses. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) :

  • Preparation of periodic financial accounts
  • Preparation of maintenance of all payroll functions including superannuation, STP and employee entitlements
  • General office management
  • Preparation and lodgement of BAS and other legislative requirements
  • Creditor processing and payment
  • Debtors processing and collections
  • Preparation of word documents and spreadsheets as required
  • Maintenance of WHS & quality systems documentation
  • Supervision and training of admin support staff
  • Provide back-up for sales, purchasing and technical staff (after instruction)

About you

  • Experience in a senior administrative role
  • Knowledge and experience with the responsibilities outlined above
  • Well organised with good attention to detail
  • Good computer literacy
  • Knowledge of employment conditions and understanding award provisions etc
  • Good working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel
  • A "team player" with good communication skills
  • Experience with Reckon Accounts considered an advantage
