A full time or part time permanent position is available for an experienced bookkeeper who enjoys working with multiple clients, to join our vibrant team.
The role is diverse and challenging, and the successful applicant will assist our Clients with all aspects of bookkeeping, to include:
Data entry, coding of suppliers and bank transactions
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards and accounts payable
Managing Debtors and Creditors for clients
Manage client payroll and employer obligations
Assist with the preparation of BAS and IAS returns
To be successful in this position, you will be a positive and enthusiastic person, with the following qualifications and attributes:
Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or equivalent
Understand relevant Australian GST, PAYG and NES legislation
Minimum 5 years bookkeeping experience
High attention to detail, essential for accuracy in work outputs
Proficient in using Xero and MYOB
Experience in other systems, such as Reckon, Attach, WFM and QuickBooks would be an advantage
Confident MS Office skills including Excel, Word and Outlook
A current drivers licence and your own car, as you may be required to work at client premises
Strong time management skills, initiative and effective problem-solving capabilities
Attention to detail is paramount
Excellent communication skills in written and spoken english
