Coordinator, Foundation for Surgery
The Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (RACS) is a not for profit, membership-based organisation leading the way in surgical performance, professionalism and patient care in Australia and New Zealand.
The Role (Full time)
Reporting to the Manager, Foundation for Surgery, your primary objective will be to administer and execute direct mailing fundraising. The Foundation for Surgery is about to begin its peak period and this role would be ideal for someone who would like to hit the ground running and make their mark straight away. The core of the position is writing all direct mail content, overseeing design, fulfilment and distribution of direct mail campaigns, and develop marketing and communications messages to support these direct mail campaigns. You will also be responsible for organising key donor events. You will be liaising with donors on occasion, putting your strong stakeholder engagement skills to good use.
The role will be offered on a full-time two-year contract.
As the ideal candidate you will have:
- Experience and a solid understanding of direct mail campaigns
- Experience in NFP fundraising is desirable
- Can-do attitude and ability to prioritise competing demands
- Experience coordinating events
- Highly developed communication skills
