Client Services Officer/Administrator - Melbourne CBD

My client is a highly successful and very well established boutique financial planning firm with offices based in Melbourne CBD, Sydney CBD and Brisbane CBD.  Currently an exciting and highly rewarding opportunity has arisen for an experienced Client Services Officer/Administrator to join the team on a permanent basis to be located in the Melbourne CBD offices.  

This business is renowned for getting to know their clients thoroughly with a solid understanding of their client's goals and aspirations.  They like the idea of growing and protecting their client's wealth ensuring their clients receive the expert advice they require.

The Role
This role will support two senior and very busy senior financial advisers who deal with HNW clients by providing implementation and administrative support - end to end processing. 

Some of the duties that the role will entail but are not limited to are as follows:

  • Making appointments with clients
  • Open and close platform accounts and wrap accounts
  • Financial Plan recommendation support including quotations, application forms, product switches and redemptions;
  • Implementation of client documents;
  • Send out monthly client service reports
  • Monitor and manager review SOA MDA letters;
  • Establish new client files
  • Handling client enquiries and contact;
  • Client database management;
  • Meeting co-ordination; and
  • Other administrative duties as required.

About You
To be considered for this role, you will have had previous experience as a Client Service Officer/Manager within the financial planning industry. 
You would preferably have the following:

  • Proven experience working as a Client Service Officer within the Financial Planning industry;
  • RG146 qualification is preferred but not essential;
  • Exceptional organisational and prioritisation skills to ensure all deadlines and responsibilities are met;
  • Attention to detail with an ability to grasp new concepts
  • Be able to work autonomously with minimal supervision;
  • Excellent communication and people skills; and
  • Strong computer and Microsoft Office suite experience
