We're currently looking for an energetic, reliable, proactive and highly organised professional with attention to detail and 'can do' attitude to join our team.

You will be joining a small dedicated team that are passionate and genuine about putting their customers first allowing you to truly focus and specialise in supporting the company to grow and reach our next level of success. 

The company and culture: Aramex Coffs Harbour (formerly Fastway Couriers) is a well-established locally owned and operated Business, we are part of Australia's largest franchised courier network, operating in 27 regional franchise depots around Australia. Our customer centric approach, investments in latest technologies, innovation, affordability and reliability has made us a well-respected and formidable option for modern day E-commerce retailers, and a number of commercial customers.

The role:

This role will see you adding significant value through (but not limited to):

  • Answering phones and redirecting calls when required
  • Managing front desk and greeting customers
  • Managing main e-mail address
  • Assisting in managing online enquiries
  • Assisting with maintaining and updating customer database
  • General office administration duties
  • Processing incoming purchase orders & invoicing
  • Supporting the sales & service team
  • Filing, banking and postage related duties
  • Depot operation duties including manual handling up to 25kg.

Other duties may include

  • Assisting Courier Franchisees with deliveries
  • Relief for night Hub Supervisor

Hours of operation are generally between 7.30am to 6pm - Monday to Friday 

Skills and expertise:

  • Excellent phone manner and superior communication skills both written and verbal
  • Great attitude willing to roll up the sleeves and take on what's needed to be successful in the role
  • Customer focused - easily establishes credibility and genuine service commitment.
  • Problem solver strong interpersonal communicator, able to manage and resolve conflict
  • Self-motivated - professional able to achieve results working without close management and focused on learning
  • High degree of attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritisation skills
  • Must be reliable, trustworthy, highly organised and be passionate about achieving results.
  • Willing to learn new procedures when required
  • Ability to work in a team and in a fast paced environment
  • Current Class C (or above) driver's licence and clean driving record essential
  • Current forklift licence an advantage but not essential
