About the role
PHAA is seeking a suitably qualified person for full-time (37.5 hour week) or as close to full-time work as possible in our National Office in Deakin, ACT. Applicants wishing to work part time will be considered. The Administration Officer is responsible for providing day-to-day management and administrative support. The position requires a high level of organisational skills, ability to multi-task, strong communication, attention to detail and sound computer skills.
Remuneration will be dependent on experience with a pro-rata salary package range, including superannuation of between $56,000 $68,000 per annum. Additional casual loading will be payable in the first month. In addition to this, attractive salary packaging benefits are available to all PHAA employees.
Administrative support to Operations & Finance Manager
Diary management and support to the CEO
Daily liaison with members and maintenance of membership database
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders and public
Meetings preparation including minute taking and videoconferencing set up
General administration and office support.
Manage website updates, uploads and coordinating IT support in consultation with others
Other duties relating to the position and/or as requested by the CEO
Proven experience in supportive role in financial areas
Demonstrated experience in providing high level administrative support to CEO and/or Board and Executive members within a Not-for-Profit or similar environment
Demonstrated organisational skills and attention to detail
Proven ability to be flexible, prioritise work and meet deadlines
Ability to use sound judgement and work in a team
Sound written and oral communication skills and ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
Sound computer & technological skills including Microsoft Office Suite and MYOB (preferred but not essential)
Desirable web-based content management skills
Ability to work in a diverse environment.
This position is for an initial 1 month casual period, however there may be a possibility of extension and ongoing work.
