voestalpine HPM (Australia) is part of an international organisation supplying high performance steels/alloys, primarily to the mining, fabrication and machinery/equipment sectors. A role exists for a sales all-rounder with the initiative and energy to drive revenue growth and manage relationships with a growing range of customers. This opportunity presents wide scope e.g. market penetration, product/technical support; as well as potential for sales team leadership. Location: Orchard Hills.


Reporting to the State Manager NSW, you will pro-actively canvass a large territory i.e. central, west and southern regions (NSW); building your profile, relationships and a sales pipeline. Experienced Inside Sales/Service staff not only provide back-up e.g. quotations, product specifications, promotions but will also act as a sounding board on which basis you can productively refine and optimise your sales efforts.


Ideally you possess a track record in metals business to business sales/marketing, leveraging off value-added benefits and instilling customer loyalty. Well-developed engagement and persuasive skills, commercial nous and technical aptitude are required. Previous technical or inside sales experience is valued. Either or a combination of commercial, sales, trade qualifications would be advantageous.
