In working with a close-knit maintenance team, you will collaborate with other dedicated maintenance employees across the rail corridor to perform maintenance duties on ARTC owned infrastructure. From time-to-time you may also can work on projects within other teams and locations so you must be willing to travel if required.
About the Role Your key focus will be compliance, so on a day-to-day basis you will perform critical work within our business by performing inspections and routine maintenance. You will also be responsible for but not limited to;
Communicating and working effectively with other ARTC employees, contractors and customers.
Undertaking installation, modification and maintenance of a range of rail related civil infrastructure.
Inspection, measurement and analysis of track to identify the condition of the track.
Operation and maintenance of hand tools, including but not limited to hammers, and crowbars.
Completing administrative tasks such as documentation related to pre-work briefs, work site protection plans, pre-start briefs and toolbox talks.
Using a range of technological resources such as computers, tablets, mobile devices and ARTC mobility software.
About You We are looking for candidates with the right attitude and are willingness to learn. Rail Experience is not required, and all training will be provided on the job. Applicants must be willing to be
