We are currently seeking a number of Geotechnical Engineers / Geologists to work on a landmark QLD infrastructure project.
You must be willing to work in remote areas and be available for an immediate start. The investigation will continue for a minimum period of three months and will require borehole logging through rock as well as seismic refraction studies.
Upon completion of the this investigation selective candidates may be offered contract extensions or permanent roles.
Suitable applicants will have/be:
- A minimum of 6+ years experience of site investigation
- Experience of drilling operations, geological mapping, technical report writing and logging soil and rock to Australian standards
- Bachelor's Degree in a Civil Engineering. Post graduate qualification in Geotech Engineering is desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively within a diverse and multi-disciplinary environment
- Able to undertake some travel (domestic or international)
