BG of Australia Pty Ltd is the Australian importer/wholesaler of BG Products. We sell a range of chemical additives and equipment within the Automotive Aftermarket industry, mining, road transport, civil and engineering sectors. Our mission is to source and market the worlds highest quality chemicals, equipment, service training and customer loyalty programs.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Technical Chemical Sales Specialist will be responsible for selling to existing customers as well as developing new business.
Key Responsibilities & Tasks Include:
Coordinating sales effort within marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service functions.
Assessing clients needs and demonstrating the products and services marketed by BG of Australia.
Establishing, developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients.
Account management to develop long term relationships with clients.
Participating in training programs and personal development programs for clients.
Researching sources for developing new clients and for information to determine their potential. Compiling lists of prospective client businesses.
Keeping abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with Directors regarding marketing and technical service activities.
Visiting regular and prospective client businesses to establish and act on selling opportunities
Arranging delivery of goods, installation of equipment and the provision of services
Reporting to Company Directors on sales made and the marketability of goods and services.
Monitoring customers' changing needs and competitor activity and reporting to Company Directors with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Following up with clients to ensure satisfaction with goods and services purchased, and resolving any problems arising.
Participating in trade shows and conventions where requested.
Degree level qualification, in chemistry or environmental studies.
Only those with experience in using or selling BG Products need apply.
A minimum 2 years of sales experience within the Automotive Aftermarket industry.
Top level verbal communication ability.
Enjoy pitching, negotiating and closing new business.
Motivation and personal ambition to learn and succeed.
A salary of $70,000 per annum plus superannuation and commission program is on offer.
