Monash University’s Department of Psychiatry within the School of Clinical Sciences at Monash Health leads research and biomedical education and provides the essential interface between research and clinical care. Academic psychiatry brings translational research, up-to-date teaching, and excellence of clinical practice to our mental health services.
Based at the Monash Medical Centre and reporting to an engaging and supportive Head of Department, the Executive Assistant provides a range of effective secretarial, administrative and office management services to support the operations of the office of the Head of Department, other senior managers and colleagues. The incumbent will be involved in duties such as drafting correspondence, facilitating communication, scheduling meetings, managing and screening telephone calls, diary management, travel arrangements and liaising with university staff and external bodies.

The successful applicant will have a tertiary qualification in a relevant field, or substantial relevant skills and work experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.
