In your new role as the Administration Officer, you will be reporting to the Combat System Support Facility (CSSF) Site Lead. You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of services provided by Raytheon Australia to the team on HMAS Stirling Naval base.

The first point of contact for Raytheons site team, you will meet people at all levels of the military and related organisations. As someone who enjoys coordinating both people and project activities, you will create and manage site schedules and access requests to deliver timely and efficient administrative requirements.

Presenting a friendly and professional demeanour, your role provides the opportunity to liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including Australian Government officials as well as senior leaders, technicians, engineers and Australian Navy personnel.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinating the provision of documents including briefing notes, presentations, reports, draft responses and acting on minuted items as required.
  • Coordinate and oversee on-boarding, site inductions, and training requirements for site personnel.
  • Provide high level, confidential and professional administrative support.
  • Ensure all personnel understand and adhere to company, site, and Commonwealth security requirements.
  • Manage the security entry lists for assigned personnel, facilities, and sites and maintain security documents and registers. Ensuring documentation meets requirements for inspections and audits.

Skills, experience and qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of sound office administration experience in a multiple stakeholder environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products.
  • Proven experience in timely and accurate document data management.
  • Strong customer service orientation, coupled with the ability to meet deadlines accurately and efficiently.

Successful candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain Australian Government (Defence) Security Clearance.
