Water Pipeline Engineer

We are seeking a Water Pipeline Engineer for a Brisbane based role. The successful candidate will have a key role in managing and providing technical input to a wide range of mining, industry and municipal water supply projects. This role will include project management, technical design and client interaction.

The successful candidate will report to our Principal Network Planning Engineer and will have significant opportunity to expedite their career development and participate in business ownership with associated financial reward.

Desirable Candidate Attributes:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • A tertiary engineering degree is essential (Civil or Mechanical)
  • 2 - 5 years experience in water network planning, hydraulics assessment, detailed pipeline design including pump selection and preparation of detailed design documentation (e.g. for construction drawings, technical specifications, datasheets)  
  • Experience and familiarity with the relevant water supply network modelling software such as InfoWater, WaterCad, Hammer and supporting tools (i.e. GIS)
  • Motivated and able to work independently, with support from senior staff and colleagues
