We have an opening for a Junior Architectural Visualisation Artist/Interior Stylist to join the team in our Perth Studio, in Leederville.
We are looking for someone who is extremely passionate and thirsty to become a great 3d artist. You are eager, willing to learn and understand that to become great is not easy. You value learning, mastery, owning your sh!t and practicality. Showing that you are self learning, will be the key.
PS: If you have interior styling/design background it will be a huge bonus.
You will work closely with our Production Managers, Creative Director and Creative Team in Perth & Sydney to help produce purposeful and meaningful content for our clients.
Junior artist is a key supporting role while learning the core skills required of an Artist. You will work within a team to assist in the production of high-end imagery, animations and visual content to the quality of studio standards.
This role is expected to have a basic knowledge across all creative & technical areas. You will be continuing to show interest in learning actively both during work hours and in your own time.
Responsibilities & Duties
This role is responsible for providing strong support to senior artists and team members in the production process and is component in basic tasks with peer reviews across the production process including;
modelling, texturing, landscaping, set dressing, lighting, post-production and client revisions.
You will be able to complete all these tasks with guidance and reviews from leads and seniors. You understand and are aware of this to complete tasks in a timely manner and hitting deadlines.
Work with guidance from peers and seniors, team-lead and creative director, consistently understanding and hitting the briefs/mark-ups supplied
Produce and complete accurately tasks in-line with client supplied drawings including:
3d Modelling of architectural buildings & supporting assets
Texturing of clients projects accurately using library materials
Digital landscaping with assistance
Set dressing, including cars, people, leaves & assets to support the brief with guidance
Deliver tasks on time and within the allocated time allowance
Communicate timely and effectively to problem solve with Peers, Seniors, Creative Director, Team lead and Project managers where and when production issues occur
Consistently follow company standards and process for the production of images and tasks
Behave in a professional manner and in-line with our company values in the studio and client spaces
Consistently showing improvements in craft and self-learning
No formal qualifications required - However Bachelors in Architecture preferred.
Interior Design & or Styling background will give you a huge leg up and or;
Showing proficiency in digital landscaping.
0-2 Years experience in producing architectural CG images
Basic knowledge in 3DS Max, Corona, Photoshop, Forestpack, Railclone etc.
Sound attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and time manage
Ability to work autonomously, and within a team
Ability to follow direction and take initiative to explore new solutions
Able to quickly adapt to and problem solve new issues that can occur
Be able to take criticism constructively and utilise to the advantage of improving process to optimum results
