Mitchell Group Australia is a family business operating for over 70 years primarily in the kitchen and shop fitting industries. We distribute a number of brands including Perspex, Hettich, Laminex and Formica.

The Role:

The successful candidate will assist with purchasing, stock control, implementation of processes, maintain product codes in system as well as quoting, ordering, pre-production and scheduling of our ad value service offerings. 

You will report to the Production Co-Ordinator/ Purchasing Officer and will be required to work closely with various teams within the company.


Responsibilities of the job include:

Maintain stock levels

Purchasing of stock

Maintaining relationships with suppliers & customers

Process returns and claims

Processing of supplier invoices

Processing of credits/ stock adjustments

Quoting

Job scheduling

Communicating with customers and suppliers regarding quotes, orders and lead times

The successful applicant will have:

Great attention to detail

Good communication skills both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate information/ ideas in a manner that is easily understood by others.

Ability to work both collaboratively and independently

Strong work ethic and excellent team player

Willingness to learn

Self-starter

Excellent customer service skills

Strong computer skills using a Mac computer and programs including Excel, Mac Mail. (Filemaker would be an advantage)

Adobe Illustrator/ CAD Cam experience would be an advantage.

The ability to work efficiently whilst adhering to appropriate quality standards

Positive, pleasant and friendly temperament with a high level of optimism to solve problems and help clients

Experience in facilitation, collaboration and negotiation with multiple stakeholders/service providers

Excellent customer service, interpersonal and listening skills with the ability to effectively interact with staff at all levels
