About the Role
The Payroll and Finance Officer is integral to the efficient operation of the School by providing timely and accurate remuneration of all school staff, including ensuring compliance with all related industrial instruments, including our Enterprise Agreement and various Awards. This role will maintain staff records and ensure correct data flow to the financial accounts as well as providing support to the Finance team as required. This permanent role will see the successful candidate enjoy a collaborative work environment, having the opportunity to work with our wider school community.
You will have experience in managing all aspects of payroll processing and related records management including pay, superannuation, taxation, leave calculations, interpreting contracts and industrial instruments and completing reconciliations and statutory reporting as required. Ideally you will have experience working in an education environment and an understanding of the environment within which the school operates. You will have excellent attention to detail and first class customer service skills and be able to work in a self directed manner to meet critical timelines.
