Headquartered in Wollongong, the company is in the process of expanding its scale and reach, supported by its growing and attractive industry niche, strong market position and partnership with Armitage Associates.
This has led us to look for a procurement professional, to join the organization full time, on a 12-month contract as a Supplier Development Coordinator, within our Infrastructure & Programs function. The Droppoint transportation network utilises multiple modes to deliver exceptional service to our customers via our asset network. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of contracts that will improve our safety, service, and cost outcomes across all our supply chain suppliers. They will drive value through Droppoint supplier relationships in line with the business strategy and objectives and undertake supplier analytics and benchmarking.
Tertiary Education in Business, Logistics or Supply Chain
1-3 Years experience in procurement or assisting in commercial negotiations or contracts within the supply chain industry.
Operational experience with complex supply chain networks
Analytical ability, with high proficiency in Microsoft Excel would be beneficial.
Demonstrated diverse vendor management across multiple providers.
Proven ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders.
Highly advanced creative problem-solving skills.
Excellent time and priority management skills.
Develop and provide executive level reports on supplier performance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Create a proactive program of improvements (on a quarterly basis) with supply partners, including regular rate reviews.
Undertake industry benchmarking (e.g., Courier, Express Parcels, etc.) to ensure that suppliers are competitive in the market in price, service, technology, and product offerings.
Create an NPS program for supply partners.
Create business case for the addition of new suppliers (through analysis and benchmarking)
Assist in on-boarding new supply partners and ensuring agreed objectives and KPIs are being tracked and monitored.
