SportWest, the independent peak industry body for sport in Western Australia is searching for a dedicated and innovative team player to join us in the exciting, newly created opportunity of Communication and Events Manager.
Sport is ultimately about people, so this role requires someone who is a people person, is willing to work with others and appreciates that sport takes place all hours of the week and as such standard work hours are not always the norm.
Communication and Events Manager
The Communications and Event Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, implementation and evaluation of all aspects of communications, marketing and events for SportWest.
The position is vital to achieving our Strategic Plan and as a result requires an independent thinker who can juggle multiple priorities at once, with the ability of being able to not only develop plans but put them in place.
Now is an extremely exciting time for SportWest with the recent appointment of a new CEO, along with the release of the Strategic Priorities for WA Sport paper in conjunction with an ambitious Strategic Plan through to 2023.
Now more than ever, sport has a powerful opportunity to bring West Australians together and reconnect our communities and we need the right people to join our team with the commitment to see this through.
