Icon Health and Fitness is the World leader in the Fitness Equipment industry. We have seen considerable growth over the last few years and are looking for the right person to help us grow even further.
We have two B2C e-commerce websites (nordictrackfitness.com.au and proformfitness.com.au) that generate a significant amount of sales revenue, along with a showroom located in Seven Hills that we display and sell our products from. We also attract a lot of inquiries from customers who contact us via live chat and phone looking for assistance in making the correct decision in matching product to their needs.
About the role:
This role requires the successful applicant to manage all customer sales inquiries and assist them to make a considered purchasing decision.
We are seeking a dynamic individual with a passion for fitness to join our team. You will need previous sales experience in a phone based sales environment but with some experience in face to face sales. Having some experience with website management, CRM applications and spreadsheets such as Excel would also be useful.
The successful applicant will have excellent rapport with a diverse range of customers. They will need a high level of verbal and written communication skills. After a period of training they will be expected to work autonomously towards achieving established sales targets.
Tasks & responsibilities
Inbound and outbound customer retail sales calls and support inquiries.
Provide after sales follow up from receipt of an order through to providing tracking and delivery details for their order.
Manage customer email and live chat inquiries.
Assist with managing site content (upload products, change pricing, change banners etc.)
To learn and understand our product range and be able to match that to the customer's needs
Support other administrative tasks.
Coordinating with various internal teams and warehouses
Other Ad-hoc tasks as required.
There is the opportunity for growth and more meaningful involvement in website design, updates and improvements but the initial focus will be on generating sales and improving the day to day customer experience. This will involve a significant amount of direct communication with customers so the successful applicant must be confident in discussions over the phone and in written responses to individuals.
At least 2 years in similar position

The work week will be from Monday to Friday.
