Kiwi Skip Bins are a leading industrial, domestic and commercial waste management services provider and are based in both Brisbane and the northern Gold Coast. We service the greater South East Queensland Region including Brisbane, Logan, Ipswich, Moreton Bay, Redlands and the Gold Coast.

Kiwi Skips offer service to all types of customers including local government, large-scale corporate, commercial customers and the general public.


About the Role

Our main office is located within the Brendale Industrial Precinct and our South East Queensland team is expanding. We are seeking a results-driven and energetic Despatch Clerk | Administration Officer to join our team. Reporting directly to the Operations Managers, the Despatch Clerk is responsible for increasing Kiwi Skip Bins overall productivity contributing to the growth and success of the business. 

This is achieved through collaborating with Drivers, Customers, and General Managers to ensure skip bins are delivered and collected on time. This is also achieved through managing existing accounts and developing new accounts, building customer rapport and generating customer loyalty. This position is critical to achieving market share and revenue targets for Kiwi Skip Bins. 


What you will need to be successful

  • Minimum 2 Years of Despatch / Account Management Experience
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Self-motivated individual who is results-driven and motivated by success
  • Highly experienced in developing strong positive relationships
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple workloads in a high-pressure environment
  • Computer literate with intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suites, Xero, and other data entry systems
  • Professional approach with excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Well-developed analytical and decision-making skills 
  • Own Transport | Current Drivers Licence


  • Previous experience in Industrial Services and/or Waste Management
  • Exposure to the Commercial and Industrial (C&I) industries
  • Previous experience in similar roles 


Key Responsibilities

  • Daily office management and task coordination duties
  • Co-ordination of Skip Bins deliveries and collections
  • General Administration support
  • Data Entry
  • Answering phone and following up on leads to close sales
  • Correspondence via email
  • Liaising with Drivers and Customers at varied locations to resolve issues
  • Actively seek out and develop profitable new business opportunities
  • Maintain existing client base through direct contact with client representatives
  • Meet Weekly and Monthly KPIs
