MiGROUP Apprentices and Trainees has been servicing the Victorian market for a number of years and we are seeking to ramp up our service delivery and pursue sustainable growth with the local leadership of a focused, energetic and proactive Relationship Manager.
Who were looking for
We are looking for an experienced relationship manager who has strong account management experience in a services-based industry (such as employment or training).
Through a planned and programmed approach to client engagement the role will support high quality customer service delivery to retain and grow the apprenticeship employment business.
Youll leverage your local market knowledge and industry expertise to support clients and act as a steward of the MiGROUP brand.
This is a flexible and self-directed role and the successful candidate will enjoy working autonomously, with the support of virtual team.
About the role
The Relationship Manager will promote positive, healthy and commercially viable business relationships with clients and key stakeholders in the region.
The major focus areas day-to-day include:
Directly managing a handpicked caseload of apprentices and trainees to support their progression on and off the job
Develop meaningful relationships with clients through regular communication and attending site
Spark conversations with client about new business opportunities and service improvements
Look for opportunities to cross-sell and promote the broad range of services offered by the Group
Identify opportunities to improve communication, service and support to existing clients
Identify current and potential risks around existing client relationships, troubleshoot and problem solve issues and concerns
Develop and implement client contact, visit and activity schedules to engage with clients and retain their business
Facilitate the planning and delivery of key client events and business activities in the region
Establish and maintain relationships with industry networks, State apprenticeship agencies and other peak bodies
Prepare client reporting and analysis and ensure service agreement expectations are delivered upon
Your experience and approach
You will bring the following skills, experience and attributes to the role:
Relationship/Account Management experience
Strong digital literacy skills including operating in an Office 365 environment and navigating software programs
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
A genuine customer focused attitude with the desire to learn and develop sales acumen
Personal resilience, disciplined and self-directed approach to work
